fairy rose, cant place?

i bought a fairy rose from the ♥♥♥♥♥, and wanted to put it close to my bee houses (to make fairy honey ) and i cant place it, the icon keeps going white (which means you cant place it) does anybody know how to place it, and where?

Did you buy a fairy rose?
Or fairy rose seed?

YOu can only place fairy rose seeds ... and only in fall, just like other seeds (i.e. on tilled ground, with the need to water them)

You have to actually grow those flowers from a seed, like any crop, near a beehive. :)

If you have a seedmaker though you can tuck the Fairy Rose inside and get seed(s) in return.
