Accidentally said no to kids

I took a screenshot of the choice to show some friends, and when I clicked back into the window I'm 90% sure I accidentally clicked no (there has been nothing said about kids, and there's no baby) will she ask again, or did I ♥♥♥♥ something up? I'm not against editing my save file, but damnit, I've sunk too many hours into this to start over. From what I've seen saying no to adopting the dog/cat is a final thing, marnie never asks again, so I hope kids aren't the same way.

This is bad ... no she will never ever ever ask you again ... not even if start a new game and choose her again, so much did you hurt her feelings with your "No" :(






(nope, she will most probably ask you again in your current game, but it may take some time, as it is randomized ;) )

ah, good to hear, I was pretty worried. I wish there was a way to initiate it, rather than it be random.
It's been like 3 months since I goofed up.

for future reference if you ever mess up really bad agian quit the game and when you go back in the day will restart and you can try again

I actually think it may have to do with your wifes personality.
In my first game I am married to Abigail ... she asked me for kids only few weeks after I upgraded my house to lebel 3.
After I said "No" it was not more than maybe 1-2 weeks after she asked again.

In contrast to this in my second game I am married to Maru ... she took more than half a year till she asked for kids for the first time.
She hasn´tg asked again since then.


Therefore I think that different persons may have different probabilities for asking for kids.
Either this or I justr have been hit by different strokes of RNG-Luck

Well when you find out having two kids is a requirement for two different achievements, you might change your tune.

Well, it's easy to get rid of kids. If you have acces to the witches hut, give one of the statues a prismatic shard and they'll go away.
As for the "personality" of your spouse- there's no such thing. It's randomized, whether they ask you or not. The chance is bigger the more hearts you have with them, and also bigger if you go to sleep before your spouse. So if you don't ever talk with your husband/wife, you'll most probably won't get them to ask you. But then again, it's random, so just keep them happy and eventually they'll ask again.
