There is probably some truth to that and as a result you don't see as many indie titles make it to Wii U and 3DS. The ones that do are the most popular and often have Nintendo support with promenant placing on the eShop home page and a decent promotional push before and after launch.. We have seen quality indie products do well on eShop in recent years as Nintendo has started to rely more on them as third-party support.
That is why I could invision this game making it in the next year or so if Nintendo takes an interest like they did with Terraria, Meat Boy, Binding or Issac, Minecraft and others. I mean Terraria, Shovel Knight and Steamworld Heist are three of the most successful games ever to be sold on the eShop. It could happen is all I'm saying...just not for a quite a while.
