Hay Tower? Turning Fibre into Hay?
I just built a hay tower and I threw a bunch of hay into it but it's just storing it and I can't get it back out? What is the purpose of the thing? I also heard you could turn fibre into hay? How?

Much appreciated guys.

You can't access the silo inventory directly, you have to access it from inside a coop or barn when feeding animals. No clue about the fiber thing, first I've heard of being able to do that.

Yeah, seriously. What?

Okay forget the fibre thing then.
But when I built the silo it told me that I could ''cut grass and turn it onto hay'' and so I was thinking of fibre. How does one make hay then?

cut the grass ( not the fibre things ) the actual gras which you can pass but slows you down if you walk thourgh it ( and watch out the pokemons XD )

Uh, you cut grass? The one that grows around your farm?

Grass is the tall stuff you can walk through, use a scythe on it to get hay, the plants that give you fiber are weeds and are impassable.

Okay thanks for the Info. So what do I do with fibre? Has it got a purpose?

Fiber can be used to craft a variety of items, so it pays to keep some around.

It's used in a few crafting recipes, scarecrows and wild bait are the two I know off the top of my head, I'm not sure if there are others. I haven't found either to really be particularly useful. I got a bunch of rarecrows from various festivals and Gunther before I ever started actually farming, and now I have the greenhouse so they're not useful at all, and wild bait takes way too many resources and doesn't offer enough incentive to make it worth using over normal bait.

Okay. Thanks :) Is there a way for me to grow grass myself for hay? I know i can buy grass starter packs at the shop but will it spread if I grow it or how does it work?

Also jesus christ the mine is one hell of a strength test. When it turns green and all the mozzys come flying I usually just leave. Any tips? :/ I can't get past level 13 - 14 in the mines without either dying to a horde of mozzies or just rage leaving haha.

Yes, the grass starter will behave like normal grass once you plant it.

As for the mines, you can buy stronger swords and better boots for armour from the Adventurer's Guild to the right of the mines as you progess, and you may even find better weapons/boots/rings as you clear areas. And as you fight, your combat level will go up, giving you a bit of extra health. But yes, it's best to get out once you feel overwhelmed and try again another day.
