Can your wife/husband cheat on you?
Knowing that you can indeed cheat with your wife/husband, I wonder if they can cheat on you if you do actually begin to cheat on him/her. Like for instance, you give another girl/guy a bounquet while you are married with someone else, and that triggers you actually cheating on your wife/husband, instead of just giving someone a gift.

Abby, even though I gave Leah a gift, that doesnt mean Im cheating on you. I gave Haley a sunflower, and yet you didnt complained. Sometimes you dont make sense

Nah, instead of cheating they are working quietly to gain control over your farm, eventually reaching a point where you get kicked off of it permanently and are forced to live with Linus in his little tent.

Actually, thinking about it more, that small fenced area near the community center that has no use? Set up your tent there.

I support the whole being kicked out and forced to live linus thing or livingi near the community center. xD

Your wife/husband gained custody of the farm, and now you gotta compete against him/her. Or just hang out with Linus

I remember when I was trying to get full hearts with everyone, elliot only mentoned once I gave a gift to Alex since I caught him before he went to bed, Im sure he would've mentioned it if I came home earlier. Anyway it resulted in him leaving the farm early in morning and coming back really late at night most days and he was out again on his birthday, so I got the invitation to meet Penny at the spa, basically I cheated on my husband on his birthday since he was out late most days due to jealousy. 10/10 I guess when they're out late when they're jealous its up to you to infer if they're cheating or not

YEEES! xD I highly doubt my future husband, Harvey would know how to run a farm though... well, maybe he'd be able to take care of the animals. :O

YEEES! xD I highly doubt my future husband, Harvey would know how to run a farm though... well, maybe he'd be able to take care of the animals. :O
And eventually Harvey would get paranoid and then murder all of your animals due to going insane.

Just a thought...

If your spouse reaches under 2 hearts there is a cutscene where they say they just can't bear to live with you anymore, then they whip out an offical document they say Lewis gave them.

They state that by giving them the mermaid's pendant you signed away your farm. Then you are given a choice:

You can either move into a new area acessed by the backwoods, it is rocky and unkempt witnh caves and they will have to repair an abandoned shed to live in. If they choose that choice they will see a cutscene where they meet a stranger who introduces themself as 'Devin', it is later revealed he is Alex's father, who after his horrendous life decided to move to the caves and live as a hermit. At the end of each day he said he went for a wander and found something (Topaz, Ameythst, Quartz or Earth Crystal).

Or they can join Linus and if they choose Linus it will show them crafting a bridge to a new island which has an abandoned dock. Linus will then start fishing daily and at 5p.m will give you a random mountain lake fish from the season(Excluding Legend).

This means they have a choice to either live in the Caves Area or the Mountain Lake.
