I was also more than happy to steal Alex from her. >:)
Other than him, though... Hm... The dwarf. Why? Who do you think steals a lot of your stuff if you don't pay attention and faint?
Now I'd say the character I dislike the most is Alex
In my opinion, the character who should be most hated is a toss-up between Demetrius and Pierre. Yeah, that's right. Pierre.
Demetrius is obvious. He's controlling and overbearing when it comes to his daughter's life. He treats his stepson like utter garbage, and seems to have more sway in this than Robin does, so Sebastian gets confined to what is basically a windowless dungeon. He makes veiled threats at you when you're starting to build up a friendship with Maru, and stalks you later. Demetrius is terrible.
And Pierre? Pierre doesn't trust his own wife. He is obsessed with his business to the point of neglecting his family. He treats what are supposed to be social events and festivals as an opportunity for profiteering, and wants to make up new holidays so that he can commercialize those, too. He uses constant passive-aggressive nagging and guilt-tripping to try to encourage people to shop at his store. He blames JojaMart for expanding into his "turf" and making life tough for the small-town shopkeeper, but he wants to do the exact same thing after they're gone so that he can build up a chain across the region. When the community center is completed, he attacks Morris and assaults the guy. Say what you want about Morris, but he was only ever doing his job (smarmy though he may have been about it), and he wasn't harassing you in the process to try to force you into his store. Pierre is, at absolute best, a raging hypocrite who subordinates his family to his dreams of being, well, the next JojaMart.
To be perfectly fair he only does that if you egg him on, you can't really hold that against the guy when you're the one telling him to clock Morris in the first place.
Funny enough I like Alex.
True, I never really like Pierre, even if I wouldn't say he is the villager i hate the most, he's just a money-driven businessman who tries to pose as a victim. I bought his act for some time, but then it just seemed really fake and selfish
Eh, it's not about her appearance for me. It's about the fact that she's incredibly snotty and whiny in the beginning. I mean, the first time I saw her it was "oh, you're that new farmer girl or whatever" then it was "maybe you'd be pretty if your clothes weren't so horrendous." Later it's "I want a peppermint coffee, but don't bother trying to make one for me. You'd never get it right." Then I try to talk to her to at another point and it's "Haley is ignoring you." I understand that she does get better once you get to know her, apparently. But, I just didn't have the patience. It didn't really matter what her character looked like. She ticked me off way too many times.
