And I personally feel that in order to maximize my farm I need to mine and by extension of that fight enemies it no longer becomes a peaceful time for me personally and takes away from my enjoyment of the game.
Overall I feel the game would only benefit from having a peaceful mode in it where you could buy the mob drops from say the hunters cabin, can't remember what it's called since I haven't played this game really for almost a year now because of it not having a peaceful mode.
Yes, there seems to be a mod for that on Nexus Mods. Do a search there for "remove all monsters"; it says it'll despawn all the monsters when a player enters the screen. Haven't personally tried this mod myself, and it doesn't look like it's been updated since 2020, so it may not even work. But, you're bound to find something else on Nexus if that one doesn't help you out.
The only real issue you might run into is that some items needed for the Community Center bundles if you go that route, are only obtainable (I think) via killing certain mobs. So if you get rid of all the mobs and/or mean to avoid combat entirely, you may not be able to complete those bundles.
