Not Getting Artisan +50% With Maple Syrup?

As the title suggests, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to get the +50% bonus to sell price from Artisan with Maple Syrup; the bonus is working with honey, but not syrup.

I can't find any thread with this problem/question; most that I have found suggest taking artisan if you're producing syrup so you can sell for 300 instead of 200. Is this a bug or was I mislead?

I notice this hasn't gotten any replies (probably because it's not promoting pedophilia), but I too was wondering if the "Tapper" and "Artisan" professions would stack, making the sale of Maple Syrup very profitable.

The Wiki says this, however:
"Despite being considered Artisan Goods, Tapper products are not affected by the Artisan Farming profession."
A brief Google search also reveals that players all report that, after acquiring the Artisan profession, Maple Syrup still only sells for 200g, not 300.

This is devastating to my Maple Orchard I was going to build. Still might build it, though, just because I like the idea. There might be a mod floating out there that could address this, though.
