Dark hearts
So i have 8 hearts with Leah but the other 2 are darker than the normal empty ones what does it mean?

You have to give her a bouqet (which you can buy from Pierre) to unlock the other 2 hearts, it will show your romantic interest in her.

You can also leave her at 8 hearts if you don't plan to romance her, at 8 hearts your relationship won't decay with her and there's no reason to give her a bouquet outside of romance.

Leah is a marriage candidate, so two hearts are grayed out. You need to give her a bouquet from Pierre's, which can be bought for 200g after reaching eight hearts with a single villager. This will unlock the last two hearts.
