In real life? Sure, if you can get away with it and live with yourself.
In-game? No.

You can be married and have as many girlfriends/boyfriends as you'd like.
I'm married to Alex.
Leah and Abigal are my girlfriends.
Elliot, Harvey, Sebastian and Sam are my boyfriends.

I'm surprised there isn't a consequence.

It's a game, not reality.

I know. I kind of wanted there to be a consequence though.
What if all of your girlfriends realize they're being cheated? That would be an episode.

Adding realism is fine, but only if it adds something to the game that makes it better and not worse.

Personally, I think that would be fun if it was added, but...

Besides, why even add a realism mechanic like that when you could just not be allowed to have more than 1 partner?
But guess what? That wouldn't be fun, at all.

Maybe it just seems more "fun" than it actually is.
Actually, thinking about it deeply...
not fun, nevermind.

If you gift a (single) after you are married, there is a chance for your spouse's affection to drop (won't always be visible as it's not a full heart's worth)
