Can you get 10 hearts with all villagers?
So, this being my first "playthrough", I am quite unexperienced in the game. I am in my second summer now, I gave Leah her bouquet and I know how to get the mermaid pendant, have 10 hearts with her and a level 2 house (could upgrade to level 3 but I need the 50k for my gold tools) and I have at least 6 hearts with most villagers (I know that I am "behind" the average curve for veteran players but I`m having fun and playing for the enjoyment alone ;) )

Either way, how do I reach 10 hearts with the villagers that have a romantic option? do I have to give them a bouquet too? And will the game display them as boy/girlfriend? Because while I want to have 10 hearts with all villagers, I don`t want my social to show me half the NPCs as boy/girlfriends...

Bachelor/ettes max out at 8 hearts without a bouquet and other villagers max out at 10, with your spouse maxing out at 13.

You can, however, give every bachelor/ette a bouquet prior to giving any the mermaid pendant, making it possible to reach 10 hearts with every villager without any consequences. You poonhound.

You can get every villager to 10 hearts.
If you give a bouqet to a bachelor/ette who is at 8 hearts they'll recieve the "boyfriend"/"girlfriend" next to their name in the social tab.

Thank you, as mentioned above, I have given Leah her bouqet already. Is it impossible to get the bachelor/ettes to 10 hearts without them displaying a "girlfriend/boyfriend" in the social tab? :)

It's impossible as far as I know.

There's really no reason to get the other marriage candidates to 10 hearts, at 8 hearts their relationship stops decaying just like the non-marriage candidates do at 10 hearts, and there are no additional objects or recipes beyond 8 hearts, so the only real reason to do so is if you want to romance them.

Ok, good to know, thank you everyone, I just wanted them at 8 so I could have a row of red hearts everywhere in the social tab... ^^

I don't think Steam's forums have anything like that.
