how to remove dark hearts

if you do something that makes someone dislike you{have dark colored hearts in social tab} how do you remove them?

On the bachelors and bachelorettes the final hearts are grayed out. These can be un-grayed by reaching 8 hearts with them and then giving them a bouquet, sold by Pierre. You will receive letters from Pierre and Lewis hinting at further instructions when you reach 8 hearts with a 'single' NPC

ty i relized it was only on the singles and figured it had to do with this

Have you tried the Care Bear Stare? If that doesn't work try knocking Dark Heart's girlfriend out and telling him the only way to save her is if he believes in faeries, worked in the movie.
