@Dee Twenty
Yes I have and I am aware of that, but these are modern times and we don't need an unfair and broken minigame in such a gem like Stardew Valley. Why add something completely frustrating and unfair? if you want that you could still have endless mode, all i'm asking is to remake the progression mode, that's it.
Just look at some games that contain proceduraly generated endless levels such as Subway Surfers, you will rarely find impossible spots that will make you lose. This minigame could have that same fun style but instead it's just a mess that few people will ever replay it after they beaten it.
If you never once had an impossible spot then you either didn't play enough or you had a lot of luck.
It's like if you were playing sonic, die on spikes and respawn on said spikes with no invincability frames.
Needs something like idk checkpoints that can only be on long flat areas where you have time to build speed to make any jump.
@Dynastystar
I play it because I want to get 100%. Not playing it isn't a valid solution, the minigame isn't well executed and it's needed to progress towards a perfect game.
Seriously guys, are you against this because you spent tons of time beating it and now you don't want anyone else to get a slightly easier way to beat it? You're blindly defending one of the most broken and unfair minigames in gaming history.
Things can be hard without being unfair (and sometimes impossible), it can be decently easy to design some pre-made levels that are hard to beat, that's how it should've been. Relying on luck rather than skill is purely stupid if you ask me.
Go to the sticky of Suggestions and count how many people are saying to have the Junimo Cart changed. Now count how many people are suggesting bug catching(personally I never understood the appeal of the idea, but when I was subscribed to the thread, it was very popularily requested), the ability to move buildings, or being able to expand when the player can save the game. Look at what else is being frequently being suggested. You are in the minority.
Edit: Also, try requesting somebody to do a mod that makes the whole track for every Junimo Cart level to be flat. Surely that would fix your problem, right?
You expect me to take your replies seriously after that? I'm not your "bro", treat me with respect and I will respect you back.
When will you ever understand that Jumino Cart doesn't have a rare impossible moment? I already explained this to you, the game sometimes expects you to make jumps that you simply can't make it, no matter how skilled and how perfect your timing is, you will fail because the jump is vertically or horizontally impossible to reach.
There's few more problems besides that:
- The impossible jumps
- The clipping issues when you jump on the edge sometimes
- The strenght of your jumps almost feels random and not dependant on your mouse click
I don't want to brag, but i'm quite good at arcade games, this isn't about being bad and this certainly isn't about not wanting to get better. You can't become better when you have to rely purely on luck, it's not about practice, PLEASE GET THAT INSIDE YOUR HEAD. This minigame punishes people who have any skills because they can barely use them.
Now, since you have been avoiding making sense and you're not even trying to understand the issue, I will stop wasting my time replying to you. If you finally understood the issue, I will be glad to reply to you again.
No thanks, I don't cheat. I just want a fair game, not an easy game. Is it so bad asking for a fix?
I want to get 100% by playing legit. Is it so hard to understand? Seriously...
