Does it matter where I put the crab pot?
i have a bunch of them, some in the lake, some in the river, some in the sea and some in my farm. I though i would get diferent kinds of stuff from each area but i'm not sure if it vary that much. Is there really any diference? Can i get any special stuff later on with better bait? Or is it better to just have them all in the farm? Because i feel like i loose a lot of time going back and forth from one to another even when i try to not go specifically for them. I'm mostly a forager because i tend to wander a lot, but i try to do it efficiently :P

The only difference is between fresh water and salt water, crab pots at the beach will produce various types of shellfish, while anywhere else will produce various types of snails and crawfish.

The only thing I like about having them near the beach is that I can line them up along the pier, making it somewhat easier. The only difference is that you get lobster, crabs, clams, mussels, shrimp, oysters and cockles at the beach and you only get crayfish, snails and periwinkles at the farm. I like lobster for making lobster bisque.
