Can't Upgrade my House or Build any Structures

I'm trying to upgrade my house, but when I go into the Carpenter Shop and right click Robin to bring up the option to either Shop, Build a Farm Building, or Upgrade House, but once I do that all it does is bring up the shopping menu. It doesn't give me the option to upgrade or build something. I don't know if it's a triggered event, all I know is that there's an apology letter from Robin saying that she's sorry for making fun of your house and that it needs an upgrade. I don't know if that letter triggers it, nor do I remember that I got it. If this is some rare glitch that I was the unfortunate one to get it, but I'm starting to get worried since it's the 12th of Summer, Year 1.

I guess make sure you are actually selecting the option... As from the way it reads, it seems like the shop option is always being selected.

Since the other 2 options are what you are looking for. Should be available already far as I know.

i played the very early stages of the game and at that time it was once you gathered enough of each material and that she was at her house it would allow you to build/upgrade

It automatically opens the shopping menu as soon as I right click her

That's strange. Where did buy the game from? Are you sure its updated to the lastest patch? Also are you using mods?

I have exactly 792 pieces of wood and 979 pieces of stone. I've done a lot a cleaning up and mining. That and I've also used an Inventory Editor

yes i have the quest and yes I have the latest version. Version 1.07 right?

You got it from GOG? since its not in your steam.

My guess is some of your files are corrupted. If you have it on steam you can verify integrity of game cache but really not sure how to do that if you buy it from other retailers. Maybe backup your savefile and uninstall/reinstall it?
