Crops Randomly Die On/After Rainy Day
I haven't seen anyone else asking about this issue, so I decided to post here for help. I have sprinklers covering all of my crops, so I never have to worry about watering them, but after rainy days I will usually have a couple of crops die. It seems to be random, and it doesn't always happen, but I can't find any explanation for it. They're not being eaten by crows, and they're obviously not dying of thirst. Does anyone know what the issue might be? P.S. I play with mods, which might be the issue, but I can't think of any mods that would cause the problem.

Here's a picture of what the dead crops look like. It's similar to when crops die due to a season change. Also, you can see a couple of blank spaces where previous crops died:

I didn't know that lightning strikes could kill crops. It never happened to me in my first game, only in the new game I just started recently

I'm not entirely sure if lightning strikes can murder crops, but that might be the cause.

They can. Lightning rods just reduce the chance.

I have around 20 lightning rods and rarely get anything else hit anymore, just place a bunch in a far off corner.
Alright, I'll make sure to do that as soon as I can craft them. Thanks

Seems to be so. I lost crops most everytime there was a storm with lightning. This time around I have a bunch of lightning rods. Fingers crossed.

Does placement matter with lightning rods? Do they need to be scattered around or can they all be relatively close together in one corner of your farm?

btw you could be planting some wrong seeds that are for spring but what do i know.
You need to make a living sacrafice to have your crops destruction spared by Ror'Hat-'ranoskos, Invinicible caller of the Thunder Crows.

When they wither like that, it's lightning. If they disappear, it's crows. When the ground is still wet even when you haven't watered, they lose a day of growth (super annoying)
