Currently there is two years in the main story line but depedning on your pace some of the events can happen beyond that plus even after the current story and story events you can continue playing unlimited as in there is no end I hear there is people beyond 10 game years now.

Well, technically there's probably an upper limit to how many game years the engine can handle, but since it's a PC game and not a 16 bit SNES title or something that limit is probably so ridiculously high that a normal person would probably never reach it without the use of save editing.
