Co-op the ONLINE EXPERIENCE OR WHATEVER XD

So sorry if this has already been asked but I've looked through 30 pages of the forums and can't find the answer. Is the Coop in the game going to be local or online? Kind of a selling point for me since I want to play with a friend. Thanks if you answer back!

EDIT: I know its not out yet, but I'm still wondering if its going to be local or online multiplayer.

As of right now I don't believe this game can be played with a friend. Soon though.

You can have multiple chickens in your coop, but they can't go online. There are laws against that.

(Seriously, folks. When talking about a game that already has "coops", and asking about "co-operative play", it helps to be a little more clear.) ;)
