Can you sell furniture and hats/masks to anyone?

If I bought furniture or hats/masks that I don't need, is there anyone you can sell them to? I thought Marlon would buy the skull mask (I accidentally have two) but he doesn't. I also bought some furniture that I decided I probably won't use.

You could hide it away in a chest or throw it out, but there isn't anywhere you can get a financial return on that particular investment that I've found yet.

I have a chest filled with HATS I don't want anymore lmao. You can also put it in your dresser just so you don't have to keep making chests.

if you want it to at least dont eat up chest space, there are a drawers you can build/buy they can store any ammount of clothes, hats and jewelry.

furniture, with a few exeptions, is replaceable with no cost, thats why it has no worth. atter you get the device from robin (yes it cost a few coins itself) you can get most furniture out of it for nothing.
