[Smugness intensifies]
My first legendary was actually the crimsonfish at level 7. Angler was second after I had hit level 10. And yeah, I had felt that angler, mutant carp, and glacierfish were all considerably easier than crimsonfish was. The Legend itself was the only one that felt like it really put up a fight like the crimsonfish did, first and only time I felt the need to use a dish o' the sea to buff my fishing skill up to 13.
Also the fact I had maxed my fishing skill long before the glacier fish was available, while I caught the crimsonfish with nothing but seven skill levels, a trap bobber, and DETERMINATION, as well as having much more practice at the fishing mini-game by that point. I had figured that was the main reason all the other legendary fish, save for the Legend itself, felt far easier, each of them only took me one try. Legend took three, the first attempt prompting me to head home and grab one of the dish o' the seas I had in storage from the fishing bundles.
