What the heck is this thing?

I have a big round purple think in my farm yard with pinkish things sticking out of it. It looks like metal but I can't bust it with the steel rock tool. Looks alien to me.

it's a meteorite. You need a gold pickaxe or better to break it. You usually get iridium ore, stones and geodes from it.

how do u get 2x2 plants , like huge melon and such things ?

3x3. PLant 3x3 of cauliflower, melon, or pumpkin, and there's a chance it will grow into a giant crop worth 18 crops. Each 3x3 has it's own chance to spawn. So 4x3 has 2 chances, 4x4 has 4 chances, 5x5 has 9 chances, etc
