Yeah I do! It's so sad especia;ly when you think about all the real people who have a hard time stayng warm in winter!

I feel so sorry for him :( I bring him food twice a week he loves it and the rest i go and talk to him to keep him company.

The encounter where he was searching through the trashcans broke my heart :(

What I feel sorry for is his frame of mind, not his chosen lifestyle. He admits to living in the woods in a tent because he wants to, and that's fine for him.. but its sad that he feels like an outcast and that he can't join in at public holiday events or socialize. He needs to take better care of himself by getting some new clothes and discover the bathhouse to the north of his home.

He goes there in winter to stay warm, he knows about it.

Yeah that encounter really makes me hope he realizes not everyone is as judgmental as he thinks. :)

Honestly? This issue is complicated. I've seen this many times with war veterans doing everything they can to stay homeless, addicted to various substances, etc, because apparently they WANT to do it for various reasons, such as it is easier to live on the streets than pay bills, and various other stuff, some of it bordering on the nonsensical. They say they chose this lifestyle, when to them it appears to be the only choice there is. No one in the right mind would choose to dig through trash and still be in the proper state of mind, and most of them are not. Their minds are warped, and they rather scrounge by and ignore their demons than confront their trauma head on. To them it's a simple and meaningful existence to just survive, than modern day living.

This is what Linus reminds me of. He's not only homeless but facing alienation from some trauma he can't endure. Maybe the townspeople don't like him, or maybe it's the other way around and he's forcing himself into solitude because they're too different and indifferent.

The guy can find you when you're KO'd in the mines. There's no need to feel sorry for him.

He obviously knows how to handle himself.

He chooses to live the way he does. He's not homeless. He also chooses to not socialize with the rest of the Town. I don't see anything in conversations that shows people not liking him or ostracizing him.

But if you talk to him during fairs, he usually stays out of the way because he says he doens't want to frighten anybody. He thinks that most of the people in the town despise him. He also has no money so I don't think he has much choice but to live in a tent..

He's the Old Alex Jones listener, he's a hermit who's paranoid and feels like everyone is out to get him, he lives off the land, I have nothing against him. But, he's too pessimistic when it comes to the Festivals...

I believe he used to be in the military, and he has enough money to get himself a house, he just chooses to stay out in nature.

I respect how he wants to live his own life. it would be a cool feature to be able to bring on an extra farm-hand. I would offer it to linus or kent to just to offer them something to do if they wanted.
