Should We Have Juice Maker?(vote)
Just wondering if fruits like oranges should make juice via the kitchen or item, would be a fun inclusion down the line. ;)

I'm always down for more products to make with in-game items, like flavored mead

Sounds pretty nice.

yeah sure, but mabye not JUST oranges for orange juice, or mabye it could be like a orange beverage, like an orange and coconut smoothie

Apple juice/cider, as well. Coconut milk, pomegranate juice, it'd be nice to see all of those and more

That would be so fun! Something to make the fruit tree fruits just a biiit more profitable!
Nah. Vegetables already turn into juice. Fruits turn into wine.

I'm not talking about making it into wine or jelly, but through the kitchen itself. I can't see it possibly hurting the game in any way really xD. Could make a pretty fun inclution.

I mean, what would this add? The juice of an orange surely wouldn't be more restorative, health and energy-wise, than eating the entire orange. I'm not opposed to turning some fruit into juice via kegs, though; I'd certainly rather drink apple juice or cider than wine. But then they'd have to rebalance the prices of various fruit trees (and other crops, if they so decide)

As for just making it in the kitchen... It'd either need to be a new mechanic, or be a pointless recipe we have to unlock, so... Nah, I'm good.
Yeah I don't understand how adding more pointless recipes would be "fun."
It'd just make an achievement or two a little more of a grind.
No real drawbacks, but no real benefits either. Only a waste of time for the dev to program it in, and a waste of time for players who are trying to complete all their achievements. (imo) :conwayshrug:

True enough. I'm not opposed to the idea as a kitchen recipe. That's fine. More recipes to find.

Hey it can give people incentives to actually purchase orange trees once they have enough money, and who says it has to be a recipe that needs to be learned or added to the lexicon? It could simply be something you make in the morning and take into the caves with you, hack the benefits could be several fold. Actually it would be nice to have a juice maker to turn fruits into juice quickly for the player to use, again something like that can't hurt, because there's a lot of things in the game anyone can call pointless but hey they exist for options.

People keep describing making orange juice as fun. You collect an orange, go to the counter, click the icon to make orange juice, then it's made. Now, where did I miss the fun part? Did I skip something?

The part enjoying a cup of OJ and knowing that your character won't catch a cold while working on the farm ;).
