Bundles are evil.
I was getting items for the last bundle to get the minecart, the one with the 99 slimes, 10 bat wings, 1 solar essence and 1 lunar essence. I thought I needed all four. I saved up 99 friggin slime balls, even finished all levels in the mines, only to find out that I could've gotten the minecart 2 months ago. -_-

Buy a joja membership.

Really? I'm surprised you didn't notice that before.

Always double check spaces, I suppose.

Or better yet, always place the item in the CC bundle when you get it, instead of holding on to everything and placing them all at once.

Also a good piece of advice.

I didn't notice it either....

I did the exact same. It's my fault for not looking properly though.

I hated the bundles so much that there was no way that I would miss that, but that's just me. I'm going joja, every time. The community center forces you to plan ahead too far in advance to complete it in time.

Huh. I didn't think it was too bad. I got the bundles done pretty fast, my fastest in finishing it was Year 2 on the second week of Fall.
Then again, I do like organization and planning ahead. So, that could just be me,

I didn't find them hard to get, necessarily, just annoying to plan for. My entire first two years was pretty much "Farm, check how close I was to getting one bundle to make sure I can get it before the end of year 2, repeat."

I actually find that all the more fun. Makes me feel like I'm progressing well and keeping the flow going. Almost like a real farmer. I'm a stickler for organization and making plans.
So, I think it's more of a point in preference.

Organization reminds me of doing work, bleh. Anyways, to each their own. I just find the system stressful, but I totally understand why it's there.

My thoughts exactly! I can totally see your point too. It could really look like more work than it needs to be if planning isn't your thing.
To each their own. I'm sure which ever is chosen, it's still fun and enjoyable.

Whenever I complete a bundle I feel all tingly inside. Bundles are on my mind every (in-game) day. I'm brainwashed by those spirit-things

Don't get too attached to them...

I'm very happy with doing the bundles, but I understand what you're saying. When I first was doing some and very first noticed down below that I only needed to collect *some* of what was on a bundle list to fill it I was like 'Oh cool". It's something you can sort of miss when first starting depending on how close of attention you're paying :D

I like how the bundles give me something extra to strive for rather than just making money. But that's because it's my first play through. If I was to play again, I'd probably try getting the JoJa Membership so that I could just concentrate on a few things and strictly money making rather than gathering lots of different stuff.

Role play wise going with JoJa kind of sickens me, but if it was a new extra save / game I wouldn't mind so much. I could try something like going all fruit trees or different things like that just to mess around.

For my first play through I definitely am happy with the bundles though.
