Artifact Hunting - Rusty Spur

So, the Rusty Spur is one of the few artifacts I have left. I've checked the wiki and it says it's has a small drop chance from fishing crates. (I didn't learn the fishing crate skill, so I don't want to have to farm for that. :/)
That's what the wiki says. I've checked other sources and they say that it can be aquired from 'farm.'
One source said that it's a 10% drop rate from farm. That doesn't make sense. I thought you couldn't get the 'worm spots' to appear on the farm, and I doubt it means hoeing on farm soil anywhere because it wouldn't make sense that it had a '10%' chance and I would've gotten one by now.
So how to I get it without fishing? It's a bit confusing.

I'm pretty sure you can get the worm tiles on your farm, actually.

That said, I've gotten two so far and both have come from treasure chests in fishing. You're probably just going to have to grind for it, I'm afraid.

I would say yeah cause I'm at year two and I have not seen a worm patch... that and probably cause more than half is still covered in trees and rocks so who knows.

I've never seen a worm tile on my farm proper, but the bus stop pathway leading into Pelican Town is where I got my Rusty Spur. I'm pretty sure that area counts as 'Farm'.

I have never seen worm tiles on my farm. The game is either bugged because more than half the players dont get worms on their farms, or more likely those who "do" lie.

Also you dont need the fishing skill to get it. Thats just decreases the time needed to get it. With that said, i think i got mine from the bus stop. I think, not sure

LOL, this makes me so mad. I exclusively use a Treasure Hunter and have the Pirate profession and all I ever get is bait. Bait bait bait, constantly.

i got mine from fishing with magnetic bait and dressed spinners from 7am to 12pm, and it took a good 3 hours total of doing this to get it, 110% bs rng.

Was fishing for artifacts in the ocean. Just got a rusty spur i already had. Damn you sloth skeleton! I used magnetic bait or whatever it is called and treasure hunter tackle

I really hope artifacts are adjusted a bit when the big update finally hits. It's super frustrating needing only a few more, but only ever getting repeats of ones I've already gotten. :\

Honestly I'd rather get nothing than repeats... I mean once in awhile it's cool, since you can use them as decor, but when I get three Rare Discs in a row from fishing on a lucky day, it just feels like a slap in the face. :\
