Probably not. I think it's just luck getting it. The game doesn't even track time like that.

Mine was the middle of Spring, year 4, in the forest river next to Leah's house. I doubt that exact location or time matters, though. Just keep fishing with treasure + Luck boosting stuff on a good luck day.

No, not really... I think I may give up on it.. that and the cooking achievement is what I have left. Just one dish. Then I'll start a new game for the Joja market achievement.

if you go to willy's you can buy magnetic bait and treasure bobbers, the location doesn't matter just fish where the easiest fish are bc that means you can catch more fish and as a result you can get more treasure which means you're more likely to find the statue

but I feel you dude i'm in year five trying as well

Oh trust me, I bought a lot of treasure bobbers.. I have a chest in the river and the lake where I put lots of it so I always have something to use. T.T

the magnetic bait gives you a higher chance of finding treasure as well if you have a lot of money you can just buy a ton from willy or make it if you have a bunch of iron
