Raising Children's Heart Levels?
My daughter is in Stage 2 (standing in crib) and I throw her in the air about 30+ times per day, but she remains stuck at 1 heart. It's been almost two weeks. Am I missing something, or is it a bug?

Throwing your kid only increases the heart once per day. I believe the way the hearts work for kids are the same as they work for all of the residents of the town. Thus you get friendship points once per day by talking to (or in this case throwing) them, even more points for giving gifts, and lose a small amount for every day that you don't talk to them (you can check the wiki for specific amounts if you want). Since you can't give them gifts, the only way that you can raise your kid's heart level is talking to them once a day, which will take a long time

I agree. Usually it's just one throw a day that gives you a little bit of points. No matter how many times you throw them up, it won't raise it any further than the first time. In personal experience it took about a little over a year for them to be at 10 hearts. Just keep talking to them everyday and you'll be fine.

Okay, that's good to know. I just assumed that since the heart pops up every time, that it was supposed to increase the heart level each time you throw them, rather than just the first time. I don't know why they decided to do that, instead of making it like the dog/cat and farm animals where the heart only pops up once per day.

Most likely if you just wanna keep throwing them for fun. I personally like throwing them up a little more before I go off and farm again.
