I feel so guilty. I've wined and dined (and pink caked and sashimied and cactus fruited and duck feathered) all of the single villagers until I was able to give each and every one a bouquet. Now, I've hugged and kissed and snuggled (and who knows what else after the fades to black) with everyone in all sorts of locales and exchanged promises of undying love with each person. And now, I have to pick just one? Just one? Oh, what a sl.....er, heartbreaker, I am!

The choice was pretty easy for me, personally. But I also went for the male villagers. Harvey's old, and Sam's young. Elliot seems older, but not as old as Harvey... but Elliot is gross either way. So that just left me with Sebastian and Alex.

Alex:

- Horrible to give gifts to
- Tacky "room" when he moves in
- Huge ego
- Sexist

Sebastian:
+ Cutey patootie
- Annoying family
- Smoker
+ Super easy to get gifts for
+ Hates his life so he's desperate

Once Shane's available, I'll marry him, but I still think Sebastian will be my favorite... Alex 3rd place, then Sam, then Elliot, then Harvey.

I was originally going for Sam but I went with Alex later on, his backstory set it for me and the fact that he learned from his mistakes.
I'd say Alex, Elliot and Sam in order, and just Leah for the bachelorettes.

After marrying Alex I pretty much decided to woo everyone else, only Haley and Maru are left, but I don't feel like doing it.

He also seems very caring, gentle and straightforward. I think he'd make a wonderful husband and father.

Might not be a lot of help around the farm since his practice keeps him busy, but he'd know what to do in the middle of the night when one of the kids wakes up with a cough and a fever.

Alex was my original pick, but I found that he was very weird to gift to. I went with Sam after him because he was super easy to gift to. You can fish the joja cola's out of the water, so pretty much every other day i was fishing for cola so i wouldn't have to pay for it.

Comparitively. I'd guess Sam's 18 (although he seems 16, to me.) Sebastian around 20. Alex 19. Elliot 26-28. Harvey 28-30.

On topic, sadly that's how it is. You can only have one true wife or husband. Surely there is someone you prefer more so you can choose who to stick with for the rest of your life.

Well, since I'm old , I went for Harvey. He's a great husband, very sweet. One morning I got up and found him in the children's room, right after our second child was born. He was walking from the crib to one of the small beds. He crawled in and went to sleep. Cracked me up. So like real life.

I've always assumed Sam and Sebastian to be about the same age (along with abigail) since they all hang out. I figured they're in the 19-21 range (near the beginning of university), Elliot I figure is like a year or two older than them (although you could estimate his age to be anywhere around 20-30 I'd say), Alex... I never cared enough about him to guess... Based on his looks probably like 20 but based on his conversation like 16... And Harvey would be WAY older. I mean, he's already finished medical school. The youngest he could realistically be is like 26 (which is 5 years older than my estimates for most of the others) and he's probably more like 30.

Harvey is nice, but I didn't like his cut-scenes as much as others. If I were picking based on cut-scenes alone I'd say Abigail, Haley, Sam, and Sebastian are the best. The others, especially Harvey, didn't seem to have as much character to them.

I guess it's all in your perspective. I see Sam, Sebastian, and Abigail as being close in age, also. But they seem more like 14 and way to young to marry. Elliot is one of those elusive beach bums that could be any where from 18 to 40 and Harvey, I figure, is between 35 and 40. Since my character worked in the city for years, Sam, Sebastian, and Abigail all seem to young. Elliot and Harvey a bit too old. I'd like to see someone just home from university and working as assistant manager at Jojo. That would be interesting.

Well Sebastian is a decent mechanic, can drive/ride a motorcycle, has his own "business", and he smokes. So that makes me think he's definitely older than Sam, who has a part time job sweeping a floor... which is still better than Alex, who only works one season a year.

Maybe you should not take a game so seriously. It's not a life contract. lol... You'll probably get bored of the game quickly enough that it won't matter anymore either. Choose someone you like.
