What is the main goal of this game? (Spoiler?)

There is no real progressing storyline, even the shrine doesn't really do anything. The goal of the game is to "honor your family name by making the farm great" or something along those lines.

Achievements, both steam and in game. Also, the junimos and Gramps congratulate you iirc. Most of this game is based around events triggered by the completion of specific goals.

iirc- if I recall correctly
I had wondered what it meant for a long time, looked it up, and found out it was the best thing to use when you were uncertain on some info.

I think this game is just a matter of unlocking certain aspects of the game. There is no real goal but unlocking stuff does make the game more interesting / eventful in my opinion.

The main goal is to make you ponder about the insane amount of hours one has invested into it.

and get a wine barn (just joking be wine barn can get over 100 kegs)

The goal is to reconnect with what's important. The game doesn't really tell you what's important. You decide what's important.

For some people, that's starting a family. For others, it's "experiencing all life has to offer" (doing everything in the game, completing collections/achievements).

From what I've read, there was a point in time where the game would tell you to stop playing and actually go outside. I don't know what exact conditions triggered it, or if it's even in the game anymore.

The casino has slots and blackjack.

the shrine is huge, you get the statue of perfection and get up to 6 iridiums a day!!!
