Accidently Sold Robin's lost axe

On my first game I didn't know what the axe was so it got put in the sell bin and was sold for 50 gold. Is there anyway to prevent this from being sold or recover it?

If you didn't go to bed then you can just restart the day by exiting the game and going back, but if you already saved I'm not sure there can be anything done about it.

I'm almost sure there's no way to recover it (if it has already been sold). The only way would be editing the game files.

maybe you could buy it back somtimes you can buy back your produce at the bottom of the shop menu

yeah i started a new game just was wondering if there was anyway to help others from having this happen so they don't suffer the same fate as I.

If it was sold on the previous day (after you have saved for one night) you could have gone back a day by doing into your files. C: > Users > "YourUser" > AppData > Roaming > StardewValley > Saves> YourSaveFolder. Then, after making a backup, delete "Yourcharactername_numbers" and "SaveGameInfo", and removing the "_old" from "Yourcharactername_numbers_old" and "SaveGameInfo_Old". Load the game and it will load the previous in-day game.

Well it's there if anyone else wants an alternative way to get it back.
