Can we feed Amaranth to our own animals?

seriously? no one replied? i've been thinking about this for a while. Marnie asks for some amaranth for HER cows, why can't i give it to my cows? i grow it! that and wheat. perhaps have a few types of special feed. it would also require the ability to REMOVE feed after its on the stand. i think chickens should be able to be fed just about anything (i have RL chickens, yeah, they eat anything-meat, veggie, scraps, ...even foam wall insulation if you aren't carefull....)
