Is It Possible to Gift Things At 'Events?'
After the fact, I realized I could probably give gifts to certain people at the flower dance, since they were all in one place. So I know for next time, does the game let you give gifts while events are taking place or not? Thanks.

There... /is/... one event- in which you can give gifts to your NPC friends.

The Feast of the Winter Star. Just the one gift, assigned to a random npc, once per year.
