so I passed out and lost my sword...
is there anoyher way to get another weapon besides the sucky sythe that's not just going down more levels in the mine? I can't get past level 5 or 6 with just the sythe...

Get a Lava Katana, it should be good enough.

uh. explain how I should go about buying an item that's only fir sale if you reach the bootom of the mines when I can't get past level 5 or 6 because I have no weapon? :steamfacepalm:

Axe can deal 5 damage, and go to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ adventurers guild...he sells stuff

to get into the adventures guild I have to kill 20 slimes. you guessed it... I passed out my first trip into the mine and lost my sword. thanks about the axe though!

you do know that they game only saves each time you wake up? you could have exited the game and started over with your sword. if you havent slept yet, do that...if you have, then just use bombs and staircases to progress to the elevator at level 10.

Or just restart your game from Day 1, since you're not that far into it, if the axe doesn't work for you.

Yeah my inventory was full when I was given the sword unfortunately, way back when I first started playing, and the sword automatically booted from my items because of that. I just used the scythe until I killed enough slimes to get into the adventurer's guild. Just bring food and you won't die :3

Via fishing you can aquire a sword known as Neptunes Glaive which is a decent sword, especially at your mine depth. It's a rare drop from treasure chests, but it's an alternate sword you can aquire without the adventurer's guild. Also, I believe you only need to kill 10 slimes. If that's the case you can also improve your mining level enough to be able to craft bombs, which can then be used to kill the slimes. Hope that helps.

Just restart the game immedietly if you die and lose anything valuble. Only con is, you have to restart the entire day again.

I've heard that the scythe is actually the same weapon attack as the rusty sword. So you should be able to use it the same as you would have the sword and kill the 20 slimes. You would have wanted to upgrade as soon as possible anyways. This time, just remember to bring some food with you.

Assuming you haven't yet killed the ten slimes to enter the guild and get access to the shop there...

Your Scythe is marked as essential and has the same damage output as the rusty sword, your other tools can also deal damage (but only the scythe mimics the sword in sweeping motion/no energy cost).

If you lost the Rusty Sword, you can use your scythe as a replacement until you get the first chest weapon reward of a Stell Smallsword without having to buy a new weapon- though if you lost the steel smallsword (and haven't found any weapon drops), you should probably buy a new weapon at the Guild.
