Leah Won't Ask About Adopting Children

So lately I've been trying to get Leah to ask about adopting children (since both characters are female), however she still hasn't asked. My character has a 12 heart relationship with her, they've been married since Year 1 Winter (and it's not Year 2 Fall), and the house has had the nursery for two seasons.

Things I've tried;

• Giving her gifts (typically Salad since she loves it, sometimes I mix it up with like flowers or whatever fruit I grew during the season) every day.
  
• Giving her the bouqet at least once a week since trying to get her to ask about kids, she says the generic " !! I accept this!" or something about "taking this to the next step" (I can't exactly remember what she says).
  
• Going to bed before her (ranging from 8PM to 10PM).
  
• Talking to her in the morning and at night.

Am I just missing something or is my game just being difficult?

(I don't have any mods installed, have not messed with any of the files, or used any types of cheats.)

Givinc her the boquet doesn'y make a difference.
Get her to 13 hearts and then have patience.

Ok, I messed up in my count, I forgot that when you married someone they got more hearts. Leah's heart thing only has 12 (how do you get the 13th heart?) and it's been filled all the way for at least a season.

I read somewhere on here that boquets were supposed to force the child birth/adoption question which is why I've been trying that.

You get the secret 13th heart the same way you got all of the others, give her gifts. The bouquets don't force the question, they simply make it slightly more likely I believe.
