Feeling bad for Linus

Has anyone else felt bad enough for Linus, living in a tent during winter, to stick a pity heater in his tent? I don't care if it's not active and 'dancing', it helped my conscience a bit.

I'm definitely going to do that. I always feel bad for Linus, particularly in the winter, whether or not he is a fictional character.

Always a nice thing. Back when Ultima 6 was new and I played it I had a similar feeling with the peasants that slept outside and would get bunches of cloth and throw down for them along with the occasional gold pile or food, even though it didn't matter one bit. =D

I mean, he does have that campfire right outside his tent. I imagine he spends enough time out in the woods actively foraging that he gets his firewood on the daily without having to maintain a pile... I didn't even know you /could/ place anything in his tent!

The thought crossed my mind a few times but I wonder if the heaters need that electricity, even if they run on batteries or generators or something like that, the poor dude lives in a tent and wears layers of rags for clothing. I don't think he has the kinda money to pay for the energy needed. But he has a campfire and a good sleeping bag with blankets so he'll be k I think. And any little jerks who take down his tent will be pelted with jars of fine mayonnaise.
