What do you like to do most in Stardew Valley?

What do you enjoy doing most in the game? Farming, mining, adventuring or making new friends/getting into relationships?

There isn't any ONE thing I particularly like about it. It's really a game where every part of it coming together mixes so well it's good. But, the individual parts of it ain't up to that standard.

It's hard to explain... Never been able to give a straight answer to why I love it for that reason.

I agree in what you say. But... I would say that in Stardew Valley I like to do mining and also looking for adventures. Farming sometimes takes a back seat to me, especially if you have sprinklers or a greenhouse

Farming and befriending the towns people are my 2 favorite things. It is a relaxing game to just chill out too.

I like that too. It goes from something that looks like a crash site to big business! >.< But I don't want it to scream just "business", if you know what I mean. I want it to look and feel gorgeous as well

I like chopping wood. It has a really satisfying animation and sounds. The way the tree falls and explodes into logs is so fun!

it's even more fun when you get upgraded axe. :D

I don't know if this is "satisfying" or "OCD" but collecting way too much. Like, I throw money away with how much time and energy I spend running around foraging, compared to what I would get if I spent that always pushing the limits of how much farming I can handle.

I am a truffle farmer only player. So early game my top priorities are foraging and mining to get my silos and deluxe barn up as fast as possible. Once the truffles start coming in I side with Joja and finish all the upgrade to buy the auto petter to keep my pigs happy and digging.

During my days of successful truffle profit I start dating starting with the ones that give me the most valuable stuff. My only 3 final marriage choices for a permanent wife beyond using people are Abby, Penny, or Leah. Winters are more focused on mining all day as no truffle money can be made that season. Late game I put up 5 slime hutches and raise all 5 types of slimes as their eggs make a nice profit. I only grow crops when I have to like for Ginger Island walnuts to unlock stuff.

I like getting the farm as efficient as possible, slowly building it all up! I find completing the town hall donations is super satisfying and I love the fishing.

my farm is pretty much complete other than 100% stuff, i mostly just grow some seasonals for profit i dont need and kill random stuff in the dungeons.
