My farm doesn't show up when hosting co-op

Hi, I have a bit of an issue. I used to play Stardew on my GOG copy, but yesterday I purchased it on Steam to play with a friend in co-op. When I try to host a game, my farm doesn't show up. My saves and everything work just fine from the GOG version. Do I have to do something to make my farm show up? Hers shows up, but when she invites me, my game crashes. So I wanted to try to play on my farm. Any help would be appreciated, hopefully that wasn't too confusing.

You need to have cabins in the save game. That means you need to build at least one cabin from Robin, then finish that day to save the game with the cabin built.

The cabin functions as a farmhouse for the second player (same with a third and fourth cabin.)

Also I'm going to bad news you: the gog copy should be able to multiplayer with the steam copy. It's a little harder to get them to connect, you have to share a long randomly generated code instead of letting Steam just do it for you, but it should work.

I say should because I've never had occasion to personally try.

Well I purchased the Steam copy. I already had a GOG copy but she had asked me to buy Steam to make it easier. I was just stating that the saves I had from when I played GOG worked automatically when I launched Steam.
