Need a Movent speed mod recommendation

I got really in to this game last year but stopped playing for a while to do other games. Recently tried to come back to it but now the painfully slow movement speed is making my head want to explode and I just can't get used to it again. Does anyone know of a mod that can increase my run speed to something more acceptable? Just want to be able to run slightly faster.

I know of two mods for this purpose:

*CJB Cheats Menu[www.nexusmods.com]

The last one is a classic, and used by a lot of players for this and other purposes :>

you could also get the tractor mod, or the Elle's new horses mod, both which allow changes to movement speed. the Tractor also makes farming and mining fast and easy.

I don't see how Elle's New Horses mod which by the looks of it only contains a bunch of new skins for horses would improve their farmers speed more than a regular horse?

Also note that the tractor requires both resources, money and a bit of space to build which can be a bit overly complicated for someone who just wants to increase their farmers speed.

the config of the tractor mod lets you summon the tractor WITHOUT building the garage, Just play one day to create the config file, then you can summon the tractor anytime. If you have GenericModConfigMenu , you can change the config of the tractor anytime in the game.
Change the speed, range, abilities, No need to build the garage or the horse stable.
No cost or space needed. In other words, my farms come with tractor included, part of farm inheritance. lol.

Yeah I know how the tractor works though I wasn't under the impression that is what the OP was looking for at all. Also, you don't even need to play one day in game for the config file to generate. Opening and closing your game is usually enough for that. This also did not answer the question about Elle's New Horse mod and how that would increase the speed of the farmer. It's great that you want to help, but I think you should start paying more attention when it comes to reading before posting as I have noticed you tend to mislead people a lot rather than helping them.

The last one is a good one. You can permamently increase and decrease your walking speed via the ingame menu of the mod. I always keep the walking speed increased by 1.

Or you can get a horse by building a stable at Robin's, it's pretty cheap and get the flut to summon it once you are in Ginger island so you can use it in the desert and Ginger island.

Or you can get the tractor mod and twitch it to give you a speed boost instead of debuff.

The default walk speed is always what prevents me from starting a new file. Once you're used to the speed of coffee and pepper poppers, default is feels like George's run speed.

This is why the CJB Cheats Menu is especially good if you are just looking for a farmer speed boost, cause like Amberbaum mentioned it lets's you adjust the speed on the go (also so that it matches coffee speed) and without having to dive into configuration outside of your playthrough.

Yes, that's a big plus when a majority of mods can only be configured outside of the game or via mod-config menu. With CJB I can adjust the speed while I play. Speed buffs work on top of it perfectly.

between the tractor, CJB, speed buffs from food, and speed buffs from rings in combat, I have to slow the game down sometimes, Once you reach the volcano forge, you can upgrade your weapon to give you a speed buff to your weapon every time you kill an enemy.
And you can earn the Savage ring from Gil at the Adventures guild, which gives a speed buff too.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, all I wanted was a simple movement speed mod and the first comment helped with that. Not really looking for any overhaul type mods, I prefer to play this game as close to vanilla as possible.
