get many auto petters

so i played for some time (beach farm community route)) now i got a building for every animal type, so far i only managed to get 1 auto petter and i need like 8 more, is there any easy/fast way to farm for these efficient whitout the joja route ?

you can get them in treasure rooms in Skull cavern, especially on level 100. I have extra now.
getting there is very hard unless you play co-op or use mods.
If you are ready to add mods, get the elevator mod for Skull cavern, then you will have an easier time with it.
Or you can sometimes get it from monster drops after activating the Shrine of Challenge , a quest from Qi == if you have been to the island.

Without mods, easiest way by far is going Joja route instead of community center.
With mods, there's one that adds the auto-petter to marnie's shop if you complete a special order for her from the board - https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/7534

Pray for a lucky day and then go to skull cavern, I just wish vanilla games have featured to send items to friends through mailbox (Like those old mods called "Send Items"). So I could give u some mine.

ya I have at least 2 extra, but I get one every time Qi asks me to go to level 100 in Skull cavern. The skull cavern elevator comes in real handy there.

ok so just build another shed for a jade farm and farm skull cavern every lucky day.
and get another luck ring.

The legit way are:
Joja route to buy them.
And/or chests in luck cavern during luck days.

The cheat way is to name a chicken [xxx] with the correct number to spawn an auto petter whenever you pet that chicken.

does that work Boby??? I never tried that, I just add ID numbers onto my name, and then I get the item every time a villager says my name.

Yes it works; but I don't know the ID for the auto petter.
You can use the chicken trick for any item for which you know the ID

ya I'm still searching for that ID as well, There is a site the has a complete list, but some how i cant find it today. I can only find a list for items like food and ores, no machines.

well I tried the code 272 and I ended up with eggplants , not autopetters.

The Auto-Petter is classified as a big craftable. As such it is not possible to glitch in via item codes.

- siding with Joja and buying them
- being lucky in the skull cavern
- using a mod to craft/buy them such as

Craftable Auto-Petter works very good and is quite fun to have in my opinion.
However, the other one called "Special Orders for Auto-Petter" never worked for me and I have seen others report it not working as well. If one want to buy Auto-Petters from Marnie I can really recommend this mod instead: Expanded Shop Inventories[www.nexusmods.com]
It does a lot of other stuff available for purchase though, but it works really good at least :>

DId you include brackets? Assuming that is the right ID (as I did not have time to look it up)t should be named [272]
