ok so im saving and want to buy as meant animals as i can from marnie but she keeps leaving the farm during buisness hours so shes never at the desk

You can hover over the building on the map to get the times, where it's open. The ranch is open from wednesday to sunday from 9-16 o'clock. So yeah, sounds more like you're just under the false impression, that she should be there one her free days or past the opening hours.

Marnie has always been the worst shopkeeper in my book, for that particular reason. Always open, but hardly ever there ;> She has a pattern though, and it might take a while to learn it. You can study her here: Investigation Marnie[stardewvalleywiki.com]

Might be remembering wrong but I think the in-game map says "Marnie's Ranch: open most days from (hours)", rather than saying "open Weds thru Sun"
