Seriously though pretty sure this will be a false positive but some acknowledgement from CA would be nice as he will need to submit to Kaspersky.
I don't know much unfortunately with that specific program, as I use something else. So might not be able to help where to locate where to do any of that. Hopefully someone else has a bit more knowledge on that one. I only know of the one I currently use. AVG. There should be settings and options within the program though that would allow you to do those things.
Edit: Kas does have an exceptions list, I'll see if that works.
Edit 2: Adding the Stardew Valley folder in Steam to the exclusions list let me redownload the file and run the game.
Kaspersky says it malware and deleted the exe.
Wtf has changed in this game in the last hour?
I think this functionality would only be on Win 10 not sure about 7 but I have to say that REALLY impressed me.
I have never seen a false positive automatically rolled back without input from the user.
My guess is CA just realised and got in touch but I have never ever seen the application itself restore what was falsely thought to be a virus.
Same problem here....
I have Windows 8.1 and never Kaspersky said that one of my steam games are malware...
