1.1 Jas' Bunny Slippers event

I have Shane at 8 hearts, Jas at 1 and Marnie at 2( I swear I had her higher for the purpose of retreiving the shorts. I dunno.)

I finally caught Shane at home to get his 8-heart event, but was very confused by the utter lack of chickens, particularly of a different variety.

Instead he came inside and Marnie mentioned how happy he looked. She made a crack at his habits after he said he 'hasn't felt this light since he was a kid' suggesting Gus was having a half off on canned beer.

He said he'd stopped drinking and was drinking sparkling water now before walking right over to Jas in the kitchen and giving her a present. Jewle Bunny Slippers, and Jas is overjoyed. But she comments on how expensive these are. He states he's quit a very expensive habit and has more spending money now.

Does anyone have any clue what's up with this event?

It was at 9am on a sunny saturday, 20th of spring in year 2.

My guess is the event belonged to Jas and you have to have Shane at high hearts to trigger it.

This is a Shane event. The recent update may have backed up some newly added cutscenes for lower heart levels with him, but you've only activated them now. The same thing happened to me. Don't worry, you'll still get the other cutscene c:

It's a Shane event. It makes sense when you view them in order, not that you have to.
