For the "minerals" + "Artifacts" tab is an achievement (if you bring all of it to the museum).
For the "fish" tab there's an achievement (you have to catch them, not buy them).
There is no achievement for getting all achievements. =P
Also, in-game, the achievements all add hats to the hat-mouse's shop. For each achievement you get one extra hat.
Also, what is your question about the steam achievements? The whole "why do (steam) achievements matter" is not a question that can be answered. They don't do anything. Some people don't care, some people want to have them for bragging, some because they feel compelled to get 100%, some do it for the challenge.
This is obvious and is the same for each and every game on steam.
It's all about those hats! ^_^ (& there are some mighty fine ones!) Also, completing some, such as the museum collection, gets you quite a few goodies along the way.
