Purple star on produce?
Does anyone know what the purple star next to produce is? So far I've only seen it on milk, and goat milk, and if I turn it into cheese, it turns into a gold star. I've looked around, but I can't find any information on it.

It is the new Iridium quality for crops, animal goods, etc. It's the highest quality level you can get and it's worth double the base prise.

With hte Iridium milk, you might be better off selling it instead of making it into cheese. Can't remember the base price for cheese.

Cheese and brewed beverages can now be aged in casks; which will improve them to irridium star quality. However, if the milk is already irridium quality it is probably better to just sell it directly -- by the time it's made into cheese and then aged, the animal will probably have produced a whole bunch of regular milk anyway. Use that to make normal cheese, and age the normal cheese to make it irridium quality.

Is the cask you're talking about the keg? or a new item you have to learn to craft?

I have a question though it may be connected to the cask one. What about mayo? Do you just stick it in the cask like cheese? In fact, what items can you put in a cask? Anything an animal produces?

Necro posting, ( Reviving a thread that hadn't seen a reply in, in this case, nearly 2 years ) is generally considered bad forum etiquette. Better to start a new post if you don't find a more recent one that answers your question.

SO is multi posting instead of using the search bar. I didn't even notice the date, thought it was still a good revival either way.

Btw, the post you replied to is nearly a year old so I doubt that person is still active on the forums lol
