Warp Totem: Farm at the Desert?

Can you use the warp totem: farm while in skull cavern or anywhere in the desert?

I looked online but couldnt find anything

Yes, in the cave just use the tótem, the bus return alone.

WHen Pam is sober, i.e driving the bus, she has ESP. The alcohalic buzz blocks the rest of the tie though. So she just knows when you are no longer in the area.
