Shed or Extra Barn for Misc. Storage?
I know on the wiki it says that a shed takes up a 3x7 space of the farm (outside not the space inside of it) and the barn takes up a 4x7 space. I'm wondering if it's even worth putting in a shed to store things such as kegs, perserve jars, etc. when a barn is only slightly larger on the outside. The problem about the wiki is that it doesn't say how big the inside of each one are. Does anyone know from experience if it's better/more efficient to build a shed vs. barn for non animal/artisan good storage?

Just built a Shed and seems like they can't be improved.
It's probably half the size of a maxed out barn, if that.

I won't bother building any when I start a new game.

the Shed can have a max of 59 items placed inside it in order to allow for mobility and the ability to interact with everything placed inside

I'll be doing the shed just for aesthetic purposes.

Shed as I understand it, is the size of unupgraded house. Upgraded barn would cost far more, but be more efficient use of space, as its larger inside, with only a slight increase in footprint, but ill admit I dont feel like doing the math right now.

Ill use sheds personally, one is big enough to hold makers for deluxe barn and coop full of animals, build a second for kegging my greenhouse stuff thats not for use to make oil, wheat or sugar. Shame we cant build/have rice paddys, or re-age wine to make vinegar, since as I understand it vinegar making is just making wine and failing, then we could make every recipe without having to buy anything, but thats getting off topic.
