Everything is free? (1.1/Beta Spoilers)
I don't see anything about this so I'm kinda curious. My mother already has both the furniture catalouge and the wallpaper/carpet catalouge on her game and we both noticed... everything's free when you get it from there. At first I thought this was a bug, but I haven't seen anything about it in the bug reports so I assume this is how its meant to work in-game? And I guess it does kinda make sense seeing as Pierre's is 30,000 and the furniture one is 200,000 but it still felt weird to me seeing all those 0s when looking through the catalouge. I figured we'd still have to pay for the furniture afterwards and this would be just a way of making sure you'd find the items you were looking for rather than hope with randomization.

Yea, it looks a bit weird. But, CA confirmed this is supposed to happen.

If everyone only checked the wiki or did a Google search every time they had a question, or refrained from asking a question that might seem repetitive or redundant, I can't see that we'd have much of a community.

I thought the whole point of having a community was to get in touch with other fans of the game, and have a outlet to share our thoughts, observations and questions about the game. I'm sure there must be other people here who don't have a lot of people in RL to discuss this game with. I see there are folks here lucky enough to have family members or partners to play with and that's great. Sometimes people just want to talk about SDV, even if the question has been answered a hundred times already. And I think that's okay.

I would have paid like 1,000,000 dollars for Pierre's catalog if it had free seeds.

But I was not expecting that.

I agree. I don't even know some people show up here and make pointless comments on topics they think are pointless. I won't be able to play for awhile and now know about the catalogs without having to search it out.

Very well said.

I have only started using this discussion forum for about a week, although i have played the game for half year now. And i was surprised by those couple special snowflakes who just kept posting "go read the wiki" or "use the search button" instead just take part in the discussion in a constructive way and still dare to refer to themselves as "helpful people" and end up derail a harmless thread into a 10 pages childish smartass argument. Those people are just best ignored.

Maybe people are here too often if they don't want to see the same thing over and over. Pretty easy to not shove opinions in peoples faces. I see topics that I'm sure have been repeated but wouldn't think to search for. Oh well, lots of people are annoying and can't see it.

Some people realize they are toxic but they just dont have balls to admit it

That is indeed the point of a community. Anyone who says otherwise is a troll.
