How do i install nexus mods for this game?

as the title says, i am wondering how to install mods off the nexus to stardew valley. the mod will change the bow legs of leah (i dont like them like they are).

please help.

ps i have never modded before in my life.

If it's what I think, it should be simple. The issue is I don't know what kind of file you are trying to mod. In general, it's straightforward. You download a file and replace the default one you try to mod with the actual modded file. Please give me information on the mod you have and I'll help.

Then you unzip it (With 7zip preferably or at least that's what I use) and look inside. If it's what I think, it will be a simple file that you replace the original with. And ding! Modding done!

Not bad but that's SMAPI modding, I believe. Some mods like small edits don't require that.
