where do i get bait for crab pots?

Um... It's the same bait as when you fish. I think... Put bait inside them and they will work.

Yup it's the same bait you use for fishing. Just be holding it/have it selected and then click the crab pot with it.

You can buy bait from the fishing store on the beach, or craft it. I don't remember if you start off with the recipe to craft it, or if you need to learn it somehow, though.

you get bug meat from killing the bugs in the mines.
And with that, you craft bait.

This can be used for your fishing rod and your crab pots.
