Spoiler free unbaised review of the game please?

Just what the title says, from jermas first stream i thought this game looked like a great spiritual sucessor to harvest moon but i dont have much money left. I loved harvest moon when i was younger but there are just so many games i want atm

It's a simulator for a quiet country life, where your character is a famer (at least nominally). There are six things you do in the game: Farming, Foraging, Fishing, Fighting, making Friends, and Mining. Each action is of course more detailed than that, but those are the basic categories of activites.

How much of each thing you do is really up to you, but you'll probably spend at least some time doing all of them.

It's a quiet, peaceful game where you set your own schedule and goals, and work to the rhythm of the seasons.

I'd rate it 5 out of 5 stars, it's my favorite game of 2016.

This. @op, if you love Harvest Moon then you should love this game. It's pretty much HM but everyone says it is an improved form. I think it is very successful as well in doing exactly that.

It also fixes many of the issues I had with HM. More customization for your character and home, no gender restrictions for romancing, a lot of hidden things, and tons of hours you can pour into it while still feeling rewarded 70 hours into the game. There's a bit lacking to an overall "story" but not much, and the Bachelors are a little bit blander than the bachelorettes, but both of those things aren't that important in the grande scheme of the game.

Because this game is so popular, so good, still (relatively) new, and relatively cheap (only 12$ or so), It only goes on sale for like 10-15%, which is like 2-3$ maybe.

You will not regret buying this game.

And some of those sites use stolen game keys, so you could get screwed, buy from the legit sites. It's not like this is an expensive product.
